Introduction

Hello, I'm pretty much a rookie at backpacking. I've been on a few short overnight backpacking trips, but nothing involving more than a couple miles of hiking. On a different note, I have spent a few weeks backpacking across Europe.

Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.

My backpacking experience is pretty limited, I'm looking forward to gaining more experience.

What was your favorite backpacking experience?

Backcountry camping on the White Sands of New Mexico.

What was your funniest backpacking moment?

Dragging our duffle bag full of camping equipment across the sand dunes to our campsite in White Sands Nat'l Monument in New Mexico.

What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?

Don't really have one.

What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)

Been a few overnighters. The longest I've had to hike to camp is maybe 2 miles.
