Introduction
Hi, I have been backpacking for about 10 years to various places all over the country. My backpacking heaven is Glacier.
Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.
moderate level of experience, use a lot of super light weight gear, like the quiet of the woods and trails, use poles now, can handle moderate trails with a decent amount of elevation gains, camp mainly in the spring/ summer/ fall
What was your favorite backpacking experience?
going into the four different ecosystems of Glacier, going up over the Continental Divide seeing the mountain goats and marmets
What was your funniest backpacking moment?
thinking a bear was coming after the tent to discover it was a raccoon
What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?
walking across a thigh high creek only to slip and end up sitting on the bottom with water up to my chin
What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)
four to five days round trip route, 6 to 12 miles a day
