Introduction
I'm about t start the Georgia section of the AT at the end of March. Looking for friends to hike with around the area.
Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.
I'm not a novice, but not a pro by any means.
What was your favorite backpacking experience?
Popping open cans of Guniess after hiking Bee Rock and the River Bottoms down in Daniel Boone National Forest.

What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)
27 miles in one day- it was a squad competition in the Marine Corp.
