Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.

What was your favorite backpacking experience?

I want get into backpacking. So far, I haven't done anything but I'm not afraid of really roughing it.

What was your funniest backpacking moment?

I was camping on a lake with sandy shore. I didn't expect sand so I didn't have the right stakes for the tent. In the middle of one night a windstorm blows over the tent. When we got out, the tent blew into the lake & we ended up sleeping in the car.

What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?

I can't really think of anything too embarrassing...

What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)

Never really backpacked, but I've lived out of a tent for 2 months.

Kristi, Unfortunately I was out all day and did not get the email in time. I went to Molly Malone's and waited (sigh). I start classes next week and don't think I will be able to make it then.

I moved to USin 1994. So lots things are changed. I'm going back there next summer to see my family
I can't wait! I miss okinawa soooooo much! Hey I can make those curry for you sometime. BTW I cancel 27th hike I have to work but I'm going on 26th. So I won't get to meet you. Maybe next time!

Me too!! I lived in San Francisco/San Diego last winter and Phoenix the winter before that. I just bought the book yesterday so I'll see you in a week or so! Happy Halloween!

Hi Kristi! Nice to hear from you! I joined Meetup when I lived in San Diego but never used it, so I'm VERY new to this. I see you kayak too! Are you going to the Book Club meetup on Nov 10th?
